Corrections to the Hospital Directory
Hospital financial assistance policies change without notice. If you have found an out-of-date income limit, a dead application link, a changed deadline or a policy that no longer matches what we show, please tell us. Include the hospital name and, if you have it, a link to the current policy. Directory corrections are prioritised.
Tips
If you know of a new state law, a charity care rule change, a hospital settlement or a patient refund program we have not covered, send it along with a link to the official notice if you have one.
What we cannot help with
We are an independent information website, not a hospital, insurer, government agency or law firm. We cannot tell you whether you personally qualify for financial assistance, review your bill, apply on your behalf, negotiate with a provider or collection agency, or give legal, medical or financial advice.
For your own bill, contact the hospital’s financial assistance or patient financial services office directly — they decide eligibility. For a billing dispute you cannot resolve, your state insurance department or attorney general’s office may accept complaints. Nonprofit patient advocates and legal aid organisations help people with medical bills at no cost in many areas.
