We do not want your health information
Please do not send us medical records, itemized bills, insurance cards, account numbers or any other health information. We do not need it, we cannot act on it, and health information is sensitive. If you send such material we will delete it.
We are not a healthcare provider, health plan or clearinghouse, so we are not a HIPAA covered entity — which is precisely why your health information should not be sent to us.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. If you email us a correction or tip, we receive your message and any contact details you include, and use them only to respond and to check the correction.
- Automatically collected information. Our servers and analytics record standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page and pages viewed.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies may be used for basic site functionality, analytics and, where applicable, advertising.
